Abstract

"MéTODO DE MONTAR UMA CéLULA ELETROQUìMICA TENDO UMA CARCAçA DE ANODO E UMA CARCAçA DE CATODO". é descrito um processo de montagem para fabricar células de zinco/ar, tipicamente células tipo botão de zinco/ar. As célula têm um revestimento do anodo em forma de copo e um revestimento do catodo em forma de copo, cada qual tendo uma extremidade aberta e uma fechada. O processo compreende uma etapa de montagem, em que os dois revestimentos são empurrados um contra o outro, seguido por uma etapa de agrafamento, em que a célula é puncionada através de uma matriz, agrafando assim a borda do revestimento do catodo sobre a parede lateral do revestimento do anodo com vedação isolante entre eles. Em cada etapa, particularmente na etapa de agrafamento, um punção do anodo com uma superfície saliente anular impacta a borda de quina da extremidade fechada do revestimento do anodo, enquanto o outro punção é aplicado com uma força oposta ao revestimento do catodo. O processo tem utilidade particular para revestimentos de anodo e catodo de pequena espessura de parede, preferivelmente entre 2 e 5 mil (0,0508 e 0,127 mm).
