Abstract
"MéTODOS PARA MEDIR DENSIDADE, PARA DEFORMAR UMA IMAGEM DE UM FURO DE SONDAGEM E PARA EFETUAR REGISTRO DE DENSIDADE". São revelados métodos de medição que são precisos por uma faixa ampliada de distâncias de afastamento. Um modo de realização do método inclui: a)obter uma distância de afastamento, uma taxa de contagem de um detector próximo, e uma taxa de contagem de um detector distante; b)determinar uma medição de densidade de formação usando taxas de contagem dos detectores próximo e distante quando a distância de afastamento for menor do que um valor predeterminado; e c) determinar a medição de densidade de formação usando apenas a taxa de contagem do detector distante e a medição de distância de afastamento quando a distância de afastamento for maior do que o valor predeterminado. O método pode ainda incluir calcular um parâmetro de calibração quando a distância de afastamento for menor do que o valor predeterminado. O parâmetro de calibração serve para calibrar uma correção baseada em afastamento para a taxa de contagem do detector distante, possibilitando medições precisas de densidade de formação a grandes distâncias de afastamento. As medições são feitas com uma ferramenta de execução de registro rotativa, fazendo com que a distância de afastamento cicle entre valores grandes e pequenos.
