Abstract
"MéTODO PARA OPERAR UM GERADOR ELETROQUìMICO A MEMBRANA". A presente invenção refere-se a um empilhamento de células a combustível caracterizado pelo fato de funcionar estavelmente mesmo a elevadas densidades de corrente e mesmo sendo alimentado com gás não umidificado, e em particular com ar não umidificado à pressão próxima àquele ambiente. Este resultado é obtido por meio de um dispositivo de condicionamento do ar de alimentação compreendendo um ventilador ou pequeno compressor, um conversor de calor direcionado a resfriar o ar comprimido e um expansor que permite resfriar o ar enquanto recupera parte da energia consumida pelo ventilador."METHOD FOR OPERATING A MEMBRANE ELECTROCHEMICAL GENERATOR". The present invention relates to a fuel cell stacking characterized in that it operates stably even at high current densities and is even supplied with non-humidified gas, and in particular with non-humidified air at near ambient pressure. This result is achieved by means of a supply air conditioning device comprising a fan or small compressor, a heat converter designed to cool compressed air and an expander that allows air to cool while recovering some of the energy consumed by the fan.
