Abstract

"MEIO SENSìVEL à RADIAçãO, MéTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO, PRECURSOR DE IMPRESSãO LITOGRáFICA CONVERSìVEL EM IMAGEM POR RADIAçãO SEM PROCESSAMENTO, E, MéTODO PARA FABRICAR UMA MATRIZ DE IMPRESSãO LITOGRáFICA DE TRABALHO NEGATIVO". Um meio sensível à radiação compreende partículas poliméricas hidrofílicas, as partículas compreendendo um polímero hidrofóbico termicamente amolecível, um polímero hidrofílico e um composto de ligação capaz de ligar-se quimicamente ao polímero hidrofóbico e ao polímero hidrofílico. O meio sensível à radiação ainda pode compreender uma substância capaz de converter a radiação em calor. O meio sensível à radiação é aquoso ineluível quando revestido e secado, e torna-se hidrofóbico sob a ação de calor. As partículas poliméricas são fabricadas pela polimerização de pelo menos um monómero hidrofóbico e pelo menos um composto de ligação na presença do polímero hidrofílico. O meio sensível à radiação pode ser fornecido como uma composição revestível para ser aplicada ao substratos para formar um precursor de impressão litográfica conversível em imagem por radiação sem processamento. O precursor de impressão litográfica conversível em imagem por radiação sem processamento assim criado pode ser formado em imagem usando radiação absorvida que é convertida em imagem pelo calor, resultando em áreas de propriedade hidrofóbica, enquanto que as áreas não formadas em imagem retêm a sua propriedade hidrofílica. Isto permite que a imagem latente assim formada seja utilizada na criação de uma matriz de impressão litográfica de trabalho negativo. A matriz de impressão litográfica de trabalho negativo assim criado é irreversível, não requer um substrato de hidrofilicidade controlada e fornece enorme resistência nas áreas expostas. O meio sensível à radiação pode ser revestido em p1ca de tipógrafo ou em prensa sobre um substrato adequado, incluindo o cilindro da prensa. Ele também pode ser revestido fora de prensa em um substrato adequado para criar um precursor de impressão lItográfica conversível em imagem por radiação sem processamento pré revestido.
