Abstract
"MONTAGEM PARA ATENUADOR MONTADO EM CAMINHãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um atenuador montado em caminhão que inclui uma estrutura de interface compreendendo uma montagem pivó em uma primeira localização e uma superfície de mancal em uma segunda localização verticalmente espaçada da primeira localização. A montagem de pivó é adaptada para ser montada pivotantemente em um componente de caminhão pivotante e a superfície de mancal é adaptada para engatar de modo deslizante uma subestrutura do caminhão. Uma estrutura de apoio é pivotantemente montada na estrutura de interface em uma terceira localização e é engatada com a estrutura de interface em uma quarta localização espaçada da terceira localização. Um amortecedor de colisão é suportado pelo menos em parte pela dita estrutura de apoio. Este amortecedor de colisão pode ser implementado como descrito em detalhe abaixo para fornecer cargas de desaceleração cuidadosamente equilibradas no veículo que está sofrendo impacto.
