"MéTODO, SISTEMA, E SINAL DE SUBSCRIçãO DE DISPOSITIVO SEGURA, E, DISPOSITIVOS DE AUTORIDADE DE SUBSCRIçãO PARA SUBSCRIçãO DE DISPOSITIVO SEGURA, E DE SUBSCRIçãO PARA PARTICIPAR EM UMA REDE REQUERENDO SUBSCRIçãO". A invenção relaciona-se a identificação criptográfica em um ambiente prático, de baixo custo. Um número secreto (uma espécie de identidade oculta) é armazenado em um dispositivo que, em combinação com sua identidade pública, pode ser usado para identificação por uma Autoridade de Certificação (CA) e subscrição subseqüente. Para habilitar subscrição renovada eficiente, a CA armazenará o mapeamento da identidade oculta.
