Abstract
"SISTEMA TURBO COMPRESSOR PARA MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA COMPREENDENDO DUAS UNIDADES TURBO SERIALMENTE LOCALIZADAS COM SEUS EIXOS GEOMéTRICOS DE ROTAçãO ESSENCIALMENTE CONCêNTRICOS". A presente invenção se refere a um sistema turbocharger (turbo alimentador) para um motor de combustão interna (10) possuindo pelo menos uma linha de exaustão (15, 16) para evacuação de gases de exaustão a partir da câmara de combustão (11) do motor e pelo menos uma linha de admissão (12) para suprimento de ar para a referida câmara de combustão (11). Uma turbina de alta pressão (17) interage com um compressor de alta pressão (19) e depois disto forma uma unidade turbo de alta pressão (18) com um eixo geométrico de rotação comum (31). Uma turbina de baixa pressão (21) interage com um compressor de baixa pressão (23) e depois disto forma uma unidade turbo de baixa pressão (22) com um eixo geométrico de rotação comum (32), de maneira a extrair energia a partir do fluxo de exaustão do motor e pressurizar o ar de admissão do motor. Em concordância com a presente invenção o referido sistema turbocharger está caracterizado pelo fato de que a turbina de baixa pressão (21) é do tipo radial, e de que a unidade turbo de alta pressão (18) e a unidade turbo de baixa pressão (22) estão serialmente localizadas com os eixos geométricos de rotação (31, 32) essencialmente concêntricos e com a turbina de alta pressão (17) e a turbina de baixa pressão (21) localizadas adjacentes uma em relação à outra e acopladas juntamente por uma peça intermediária (20) configurada como um duto de fluxo, que está disposta para possibilitar uma determinada excentricidade entre os dois eixos geométricos de rotação (31, 32), e de que a unidade turbo de baixa pressão (22) está atada para uma parte do motor de combustão interna (10), enquanto que a unidade turbo de alta pressão (18) está atada para uma outra parte do motor de combustão interna (10).
