Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CONTROLE DE UM DISPOSITIVO EXTERNO PELO RE-MAPEAMENTO DE TECLAS EM UM DISPOSITIVO DE ENTRADA DO USUáRIO". Um aparelho (20) tal como um receptor de sinal de televisão controla um dispositivo externo (40) tal como um dispositivo de gravação/reprodução digital através de um barramento de dados digitais (30) pelo re-mapeamento de teclas em um dispositivo de entrada do usuário (10). De acordo com uma modalidade exemplar, o aparelho inclui um terminal de entrada/saída (13) operativo para possibilitar a transferência de sinal entre o receptor de sinal de televisão (20) e um dispositivo externo (40) através de um barramento de dados digitais (30). Um processador (14) é operativo para detectar um primeiro sinal de comando de um primeiro protocolo de controle proveniente de um dispositivo de entrada do usuário (10), e para detectar um do primeiro e do segundo modos do receptor de sinal de televisão (20) . O processador (14) detecta o primeiro modo em resposta ao estabelecimento de uma conexão entre o receptor de sinal de televisão (20) e o dispositivo externo (40) através do barramento de dados digitais (30), e detecta o segundo modo em resposta ao término da conexão entre o receptor de sinal de televisão (20) e o dispositivo externo (40) através do barramento de dados digitais (30). O processador (14) possibilita que o terminal de entrada/saída (13) produza como saída um segundo sinal de comando de um segundo protocolo de controle para o dispositivo externo (40) através do barramento de dados digitais (30) responsivo ao primeiro sinal de comando se o primeiro modo é detectado. O processador (14) possibilita uma função do receptor de sinal de televisão (20) responsiva ao primeiro sinal de comando sem possibilitar a saída do segundo sinal de comando para o dispositivo externo (40) se o segundo modo é detectado.
