Abstract
"SISTEMA DE SUPERISOLAMENTO COMPACTO, LEVE E RESISTENTE A CARGA". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de superisolamento compacto e leve que é capaz também de suportar um alto nível de carga de compressão. O sistema utiliza espaçadores para fornecer o suporte estrutural e utilizar o empenamento controlado de um revestimento externo protetor fino suportado pelos espaçadores para formar superfícies catenárias fortes para proteger o material isolante inferior. Os espaçadores podem compreender um aerogel, ou um aerogel pode fornecer isolamento separado do espaçador contido dentro do revestimento externo fino. O sistema será útil para o gerenciamento térmico de uma variedade de estruturas submarinas profundas tais como aparelho tipo tubo em tubo, elevadores ou árvores submarinas para exploração de óleo e gás em águas muito profundas.
