Abstract

"MéTODO DE PRODUçãO DE éSTERES DE ALQUILA USANDO-SE PRESSãO". Um método para produção de ésteres de alquila ou metiléster especificamente, tal como um biodiesel, a partir de uma fonte de óleo é descrito. O método envolve reagir simultaneamente os ácidos graxos livres e os glicerídeos da fonte de óleo com metanol, sob pressão até 3,447 MPa, para ésteres de alquila de ácido graxo. A conversão é catalisada por um ácido a temperaturas entre cerca de 80 <198>C e cerca de 200 <198>C.
