"MOLéCULAS DE áCIDO NUCLéICO ISOLADA, GENE QUIMéRICO, YARROWIA SP. TRANSFORMADA, MéTODOS DE PRODUçãO DE áCIDOS <sym>-LINOLêNICO, ESTEARIDÈNICO, EICOSATETRAENóICO, EICOSAPENTAENóICO, DI-HOMO-<sym>-LINOLéICO, DOCOSAPENTAENóICO, MéTODO DE OTIMIZAçãO DE UM GENE, MéTODOS DE OTIMIZAçãO DA EXPRESSãO DE UM GENE E óLEO MICROBIANO". A presente invenção refere-se a elongases e dessaturases de ácidos graxos capazes de catalisar a conversão de ácido linoléico (LA) em ácido <sym>-linolênico (GLA); ácido <244>-linoléico (ALA) em ácido estearidónico (STA); GLA em ácido di-homo-<sym>-linoléico (DGLA); STA em ácido eicosatetraenóico (ETA): DGLA em ETA; ácido eicosapentaenóico (EPA) em ácido docosapentaenóico (DPA); e ácido araquidónico (ARA) em EPA.
