The main absorbent body comprises a liquid permeable upper layer, a liquid impermeable lower layer, and an absorbent core disposed therebetween. The main absorbent body has a longitudinal centerline, longitudinal side edges, transverse end edges, an anterior waist region, a posterior waist region and a hook region. The anterior waist region and the posterior waist region are not directly joined. The circular elastic waistband comprises an anterior layer of the elasticized waistband and a posterior layer of the elasticized waistband. The circular elastic waistband is joined to the main absorbent body at the front waist region and the rear waist region to form a waist opening and two leg openings. The circular elastic waistband is not disposed in the hook region of the main absorbent body. The outer liner layer comprises a material separated from the front waistband and the rear waistband. The outer coating layer has longitudinal side portions and transverse end portions. The outer covering layer covers the main absorbent body at the hook region, and extends to the front waist region and the back waist region to be joined to the circular elastic waistband. The longitudinal side portion of the outer covering layer is provided with an elastic material to form an elastic leg cuff.
