Abstract
"POLìMERO AGLUTINANTE FORMADOR DE FILME PARA UMA COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO, PROCESSO PARA A MODIFICAçãO DE POLìMEROS AGLUTINANTES FORMADORES DE FILME, COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO, E, MéTODO PARA MELHORAR A OPACIDADE DE COMPOSIçõES DE REVESTIMENTO". Um polímero aglutinante formador de filme para uma composição de revestimento, como uma tinta, verniz ou tinta para madeira, onde o polímero é modificado pela presença de radicais ligados derivados de goma de planta, especialmente de goma de fibras de plantas obtenível de fibras de plantas, especialmente goma de fibra de milho, e mais especialmente, radicais derivados de proteo-xilanos e/ou de furanose. O polímero aglutinante modificado minimiza a necessidade de utilizar-se solventes coalescentes, sem produzir revestimentos de tintas de secagem pobre que não passam nos testes de resistência ao esfregaço, e também melhora a opacidade da composição de revestimento seca.
