Abstract

"MONTAGEM DE VáLVULA ROTATIVA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma montagem de válvula/vedação que é adaptada para uso em uma variedade de aplicações, tais como, por exemplo, médicas, bebidas para consumo, recipientes farmacêuticos, automóveis, eletrodomésticos, e marítimas. A válvula descrita inclui, entre outras coisas, um alojamento de válvula que apresenta uma porção de corpo superior e uma porção de corpo inferior e um membro de válvula geralmente esférico. As porções de corpo superior e inferior do alojamento definem uma câmara interna para acomodar o membro de válvula e um eixo central para a válvula. O membro de válvula geralmente esférico é assentado dentro da câmara interna do alojamento de válvula e apresenta um orifício axial que se estende através do mesmo. O membro de válvula é montado para movimento entre uma posição aberta, na qual o orifício axial do membro de válvula é axialmente alinhado com os orifícios de entrada e saída do alojamento de válvula, e uma posição fechada, na qual o orifício axial do membro de válvula está fora do alinhamento com os orifícios de entrada e saída do alojamento de válvula. A montagem de válvula adicionalmente inclui um mecanismo de came que é operativamente associado com o alojamento de válvula e o membro de válvula para mover o membro de válvula entre a posição aberta e a posição fechada.
