Abstract
"SISTEMA DE POSICIONAMENTO, DISPOSITIVO PARA USO EM UM SISTEMA DE POSICIONAMENTO, E, MéTODOS PARA OPERAR UM SISTEMA DE POSICIONAMENTO E PARA OPERAR UM DISPOSITIVO EM UM SISTEMA DE POSICIONAMENTO". Um sistema de posicionamento inclui uma pluralidade de dispositivos configurados para trocar sinais de RF entre si. Um primeiro dispositivo recebe periodicamente uma mensagem de cada outro dispositivo durante intervalos de tempo designados para eles. A mensagem recebida inclui informação representando um tempo de chegada no outro dispositivo de uma mensagem respectiva transmitida pelo primeiro dispositivo. Um tempo de chegada da mensagem de cada um dos outros dispositivos é determinado pelo primeiro dispositivo. O primeiro dispositivo transmite periodicamente mensagens para os outros dispositivos, cada mensagem transmitida incluindo informação representando o tempo de chegada determinado para pelo menos um dos outros dispositivos.
