Abstract

"CASCO PARA UMA PLATAFORMA FORA-DA-COSTA SEMI-SUBMERSìVEL, E, MéTODO DE EMPREGAR UMA PLATAFORMA FORA-DA-COSTA, FLUTUANTE, SEMI-SUBMERSìVEL DE CALADO PROFUNDO". Uma plataforma flutuante semi-submersível, em multicoluna, de calado profundo, para uso fora-da-costa em perfuração e produção de óleo e gás compreende um casco flutuante tendo uma base ajustavelmente flutuante, uma pluralidade de colunas verticais a partir da base, e um convés de equipamento que é suportado no topo das colunas quando a plataforma é empregada operacionalmente. Cada uma das colunas compreende uma estrutura celular que inclui uma pluralidade de tubos alongados tendo uma variedade de formas de seção transversal se estendendo da base para o topo da coluna. Cada um dos tubos define um ou mais compartimentos fechados.
