Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO DE CODIFICAçãO PERMITINDO MUDANçA RáPIDA DE CANAL DE VìDEO COMPRIMIDO". Um codificador de video (100, 300, 500) e método correspondente (800) são descritos para permitir uma mudança rápida de canal de vídeo comprimido, onde um codificador de vídeo (100, 300, 500) para receber imagens de entrada e fornecer dados de seqüência comprimidos inclui uma parte de codificação normal (130, 330, 530) para receber imagens de entrada e fornecer dados de seqüência normal, uma parte de codificação de qualidade inferior (140, 340, 540) para receber imagens de entrada e fornecer dados de seqüência de mudança de canal,e um multiplexador (150, 350, 550) em comunicação de sinal com cada uma das partes normal e de qualidade inferior para receber e combinar as seqüências de dados de mudança de canal e normal.
