"EQUIPAMENTO E MéTODO PARA DISPOSITIVO DE AUTENTICAçãO DE MúLTIPLAS FUNçõES". São descritos um equipamento e um método para autenticação (100). Em uma modalidade (100), um equipamento para efetuar autenticação utilizando um módulo de autenticação externo removivelmente acoplado compreende um módulo configurado para receber o módulo de autenticação (120). O módulo de autenticação está configurado para gerar informações de autenticação. O módulo pode compreender uma unidade de entrada (140) configurada para receber e acoplar o módulo de autenticação e uma unidade de saída (130) configurada para receber as informações de autenticação provenientes do módulo de autenticação e para transmitir as informações de autenticação.
