Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO PARA DETECTAR O FIM DO PAPEL EM UMA IMPRESSORA". A presente invenção refere-se ao dispositivo (18) para detectar o fim do papel compreendendo um suporte (43) montado sobre uma parede (26) de uma impressora (10) de recibos obtidos a partir de uma fita (12) de papel enrolado em um rolo (14), contido em um alojamento (15) da impressora (10). A impressora (10) é de preferência empregada em um Ponto de Venda (POS) e pode ser disposta em um plano de trabalho horizontal (21) colocada em sua base (22), ou inclinada por cerca de 90<198> em uma parede frontal (24). Como um resultado, o rolo (14) é colocado dentro do alojamento (15) alternativamente em duas posições, correspondendo à inclinação assumida pela impressora. Uma alavanca de detecção (54) é montada de forma articulada sobre o suporte (43) e é proporcionada com dois braços (55, 56) expandidos separados, formando um ângulo de aproximadamente 120<198>. Fixo junto a cada uma das extremidades dos braços (55, 56) está um elemento protuberante (58, 60), cada um dos quais adequado para engatar-se com um orifício em uma roda dentada central (17) do rolo (14), quando o mesmo tiver alcançado sua dimensão mínima, na qual resta um dado comprimento de fita da roda dentada (17), indicando que a última está próxima ao seu término. Os dois elementos protuberantes (58, 60) são posicionados de tal modo que somente um destes entre no orifício na roda dentada (17), quando a impressora (10) é colocada em uma das duas posições; o suporte (43) é movido linearmente sobre a parede (26) por meio de um came dentado (47), de modo a adaptar a posição de cada um dos elementos protuberantes às dimensões da roda dentada (17) do rolo de papel.
