Abstract

"POLìMERO DE POLIURETANO TERMOPLáSTICO, FIBRA TERMOPLáSTICA FIADA EM FUSãO, PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR FIBRAS DE POLIURETANO TERMOPLáSTICO FIADAS EM FUSãO, E, ARTIGO". São descritos polímeros de poliéter poliuretano termoplásticos, que são misturados com um agente de reticulação para obter longos tempos de execução em um processo de fiação em fusão, para produzir fibras elásticas. O agente de reticulação é preferivelmente um poliéter ou poliéster poliol, reagido com um diisocianato. Um processo de fiação em fusão é também descrito utilizando um poliéter poliuretano com um agente de reticulação. Longos tempos de execução de fiação em fusão podem ser conseguidos sem experimentar excessivo desenvolvimento de pressão na fieira e rompimento de fibra. Os polímeros de poliéter poliuretano termoplásticos são produzidos reagindo-se: (1) uma mistura de dois ou mais intermediários terminados em hidroxila, em que um intermediário é um intermediário de poliéter e tem um peso molecular médio numérico mais elevado do que os outros ditos intermediários de poliéter e em que o peso molecular médio numérico médio ponderal de dita mistura é maior do que 1200 Daltons; (2) pelo menos um poliisocianato; e (3) pelo menos um extensor de cadeia terminado em hidroxila. As fibras fiadas em fusão descritas têm excelentes captação de corante, resistência a alvejante e firmeza de cor. As fibras fiadas em fusão podem ser tingidas com fibras de poliéster e reter excelentes propriedades físicas.
