Abstract

"SISTEMA DE AQUISIçãO GEOFìSICO MARINHO". A invenção compreende um aparelho sensor geofísico para uso sob a água no mar, compreendendo uma pluralidade de sensores sísmicos (1) para detectar ondas sísmicas associadas com formações subterrâneas, e uma pluralidade de sensores EM constituídos preferivelmente por eletrodos (4) para detectar ondas eletromagnéticas, associadas com as ditas formações subterrâneas. Em uma preferida forma de realização do cabo receptor da invenção, o aparelho sensor geofísico compreende um cabo receptor sísmico com uma disposição linear de uma pluralidade de sensores sísmicos (1) e sensores EM, dispostos no interior de uma película externa flexível (25), com os ditos sensores EM tendo eletrodos sobre o exterior da dita película externa. O cabo é operado sobre o fundo do mar por meio de uma embarcação de superfície rebocando uma antena transmissora eletromagnética, em adição à fonte sísmica.
