Abstract

"MéTODO E DISPOSITIVO DE GRAVAçãO PARA GRAVAR INFORMAçãO SOBRE UM DISCO GRAVáVEL DE CAMADA DUPLA". A invenção relaciona-se a métodos de gravação para gravar informação sobre um disco gravável de camada dupla, e a dispositivos de gravação correspondentes. Em tal método e dispositivo de gravação, a área OPC é variavelmente localizada sobre uma camada do disco. Em uma realização preferida, a área OPC está localizada relativamente perto do raio onde o fluxo de dados comuta da primeira camada para a segunda camada. Este tempo adicional reduzido, é requerido para pular para uma área OPC fixa. Adicionalmente, em um outro método e dispositivo, a informação a ser gravada é igualmente dividida através de ambas as camadas do disco de camada dupla. Isto evita o tempo adicional requerido para finalização.
