Abstract

"MéTODO PARA EXPANDIR UM ELEMENTO TUBULAR". é provido um método para expandir um elemento tubular (32), o elemento tubular tendo uma primeira porção a ser expandida até um primeiro diâmetro interno e uma segunda porção a ser expandida até um segundo diâmetro interno maior do que o primeiro diâmetro interno. O método compreende: a) arranjar uma luva expansível (36) de espessura de parede selecionada na dita segunda porção do elemento tubular; b) posicionar um expansor (1) no elemento tubular; c) operar o expansor de maneira a expandir a dita primeira porção do elemento tubular até o primeiro diâmetro interno, e operar o expansor de maneira a expandir a luva até um diâmetro interno substancialmente igual ao segundo diâmetro interno menos o dobro da espessura de parede da luva; e d) recuperar a luva (36) do elemento tubular (32).
