Abstract

"MATERIAIS E MéTODOS PARA A MODULAçãO DE POLIPEPTìDIOS DO TIPO INIBIDOR DE CINASE DEPENDENTE DE CICLINA NO MILHO". A presente invenção refere-se a moléculas de ácido nucléico isoladas ou purificadas que codificam polipeptídios que tenham uma atividade do tipo do inibidor da cinase dependente de ciclina (CDK); vetores; células hospedeiras polipeptídios que tem uma atividade do tipo de inibidor da CDK, construtos de ácido nucléico para a supressão da atividade do tipo de inibidor da CDK, métodos para a supressão e regulação para cima da expressão de um ou mais de genes do tipo de inibidor da CDK em uma célula, tecido, órgão ou planta de milho; uma célula, tecido, órgão ou planta de milho no qual a expressão de um gene do tipo de inibidor da CDK tenha sido suprimido ou regulada para cima de acordo com tais métodos; e uma semente (e o óleo do farelo da mesma) obtidos a partir de uma planta na qual a expressão de um ou mais genes do tipo de inibidor da CDK tenha sido suprimida ou regulada para cima.
