Abstract
"MéTODOS DE INIBIçãO DA ECLOSãO DE OVO DE UM ECTOPARASITO, DE TRAMENTO OU PREVENçãO DE INFESTAçãO POR ECTOPARASITO EM HOSPEDEIRO E DE IDENTIFICAçãO DE COMPOSTO INIBIDOR DA ECLOSãO DE OVO DE ECTOPARASITO, RESPECTIVAS COMPOSIçõES E USOS DE AGENTE QUELANTE DE METAL E DE PELO MENOS UM INIBIDOR DE METALOPROTEASE". A invenção refere-se a um método para inibidor a eclosão de ovo de um ectoparasito, compreendendo a exposição do ovo de ectoparasito a pelo menos um agente quelante de metal e/ou inibidor de metaloprotease, em qu o agente quelante de metal é um composto que compreende pelo menos dois heteroátomos capazes de simultaneamente coordenar com um íon metálico, sendo pelo menos um dos dois heteroátomos selecionado dentre nitrogênio, enxofre, oxigênio ou fósforo, em que o composto compreende pelo menos um anel carbocíclico substituído com pelo menos um heteroátomo e/ou com um substituinte contendo pelo menos um heteroátomo ou o composto compreende pelo menos um anel heterocíclico contendo pelo menos um heteroátomo, em que o referido anel heterocíclico é opcionalmente substituído por pelo menos um heteroátomo e/ou com um substituinte contendo pelo menos um heteroátomo. São também providos métodos de tratamento de infestações por ectoparasito e composições para uso nesses métodos.
