Abstract

"EXPLORAçãO DE INDICADOR DE DESCONTINUIDADE PARA OPERAçãO NO MODO TRUQUE". Um sistema e um método para modificar um fluxo de conteúdo de multimídia para implementar funções de reprodução no modo truque, em receptores MPEG que não seguem as recomendações gerais de implementação de modo truque MPEG. O sistema pode incluir um processador que define um indicador de descontinuidade em um campo de adaptação associado a um quadro de vídeo. Um valor de referência de relógio de programa (PCR) substituto também pode ser definido no campo de adaptação. O valor PCR substituto pode ser definido em um valor aproximadamente igual a uma marcação de tempo de apresentação (PTS) do quadro de vídeo com o qual o campo de adaptação é associado. o processador também pode inserir um campo de adaptação com pelo menos um quadro de vídeo com o qual um campo de adaptação já não foi associado. o processador também pode remover pelo menos um quadro de vídeo a partir do fluxo de conteúdo de multimídia.
