Abstract
"MéTODO PARA PROCESSAMENTO DE MINéRIOS DE SULFETO CONTENDO METAIS PRECIOSOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para processamento de minérios de sulfeto contendo metais preciosos, tais como, minérios de cobre contendo níquel. De acordo com a invenção, o minério ou concentrado (1) contendo os metais preciosos é lixiviado (2) e o ferro contido na solução é neutralizado em condições oxidantes por meio de uma solução de recirculação ferrosa (6), que é recirculada para ser lixiviada. A solução (8) da etapa de lixiviação e pelo menos parte do resíduo da solução são conduzidos para uma etapa de conversão (5), onde o sulfeto contendo ferro (9) é alimentado para converter o cobre contido na etapa de conversão em concentrado de sulfeto de cobre (10) contendo os metais preciosos. A solução (6) obtida da etapa de conversão é parcialmente recirculada para a etapa precedente de lixiviação (2) e parcialmente conduzida para posterior tratamento (11) dos componentes contidos na solução.
