"MéTODO PARA ATUALIZAR DADOS DE ALMANAQUE GPS PARA SATéLITES NãO VISìVEIS". Um método para atualizar dados de almanaque do Sistema de Posicionamento Global (GPS) incluindo etapas para obter um almanaque de satélite atual para uma constelação de satélites em um servidor em uma infra-estrutura de comunicação associada a um dispositivo sem fio (102) criando um subconjunto do almanaque do satélite atual no servidor que inclui dados de almanaque de satélite apenas para menos do que todos os satélites listados no almanaque de satélite atual (104), e transmitir o subconjunto do almanaque de satélite atual do servidor para o dispositivo sem fio (106), é descrito.
