Abstract

TRASMISSOR EM, E, MéTODOS DE LEVANTAMENTO EM ABAIXO DO PISO OCEáNICO USANDO UM TRANSMISSOR EM E DE PRODUçãO DE UM RELATóRIO DE LEVANTAMENTO. A presente invenção fornece uma antena transmissora para uso em levantamento eletromagnético (EM) abaixo do piso oceânico. A antena transmissora de acordo com a presente invenção compreende uma fonte de corrente (não mostrada) e uma antena bipolar (17), a antena bipolar compreendendo um primeiro eletrodo (18) montado em um cabo (19) e localizado próximo à fonte de corrente, e um segundo eletrodo (21) montado em um cabo (22) e localizado mais afastado da fonte de corrente, cada eletrodo sendo conectado eletricamente à fonte de corrente. A antena transmissora pode ser desdobrada ao ser rebocada por uma navio (14).
