Abstract
"PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO PARA O APOIO VISUAL DE UMA APLICAçãO ELETROFISIOLóGICA DE CATETER NO CORAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo e a um processo para o apoio visual de uma aplicação eletrofisiológica de cateter no coração, nos quais, durante a execução da aplicação do cateter, são visualizados dados de mapeamento 3D eletroanatómicos disponibilizados de uma zona do coração a ser tratada. Com um processo de geração tomográfica de imagens em 3D, antes da execução da aplicação de cateter, são detectados dados de imagem em 3D de uma região do corpo que contém a zona a ser tratada. A partir dos dados de imagem em 3D extrai-se a região a ser tratada ou partes significativas dela, para se obter dados de imagem em 3D selecionados. Os dados de mapeamento em 3D eletroanatómicos e os dados de imagem em 3D selecionados são, por fim, combinados corretamente quanto à posição e à dimensão e são visualizados lado a lado, por exemplo durante a execução da ablação por cateter. O processo, bem como o dispositivo correspondente, melhoram a orientação do usuário na execução de uma aplicação de cateter no coração.
