Abstract

"ARTIGO TRATáVEL TERMICAMENTE, REVESTIDO COM CARBONO SEMELHANTE A DIAMANTE (DLC) E/OU ZIRCÈNIO NO REVESTIMENTO". Em certas modalidades exemplificativas, um artigo revestido inclui as respectivas camadas que incluem carbono semelhante a diamante (DLC) N e nitreto de zircónio, antes do tratamento térmico (HT). Durante o tratamento térmico (HT), o DLC hidrogenado atua como um combustível que, após a combustão com oxigênio, produz dióxido de carbono e/ou água. A alta temperatura desenvolvida durante esta combustão aquece o nitreto de zircónio até uma temperatura bem acima da temperatura de tratamento térmico, fazendo com que, desta forma, o nitreto de zircónio seja transformado em uma nova camada pós-tratamento, que inclui óxido de zircónio, que é resistente a arranhões e durável.
