"ALOCAçãO DE RECURSO PROGRAMADA E AUTÈNOMA COOPERATIVA PARA UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DISTRIBUìDO". Um terminal de acesso (206) configurado para realizar a comunicação sem fio com uma rede de acesso (204) dentro de um setor (1032). O terminal de acesso (206) inclui um transmissor (2608) para transmitir um canal de tráfego reverso para a rede de acesso (204), uma antena (2614) para receber sinais da rede de acesso (204), um processador (2602) e memória (2604) em comunicação eletrónica com o processador (2602).
