Abstract

"MéTODO DE CONVERSãO DE FALA EM UM IMPLANTE DE CóCLEA". é um objetivo da presente invenção prover um implante de cóclea e um método de conversão de fala no implante de cóclea, o qual pode prover a um usuário uma fala de sensação quase natura e pode regenerar uma variação natural em um valor próximo do período natural de respectivos canais. De acordo com a presente invenção, e provido um método de conversão de fala em um implante de cóclea, no qual um arranjo de eletrodos de uma pluralidade de eletrodos é disposto em uma cóclea, pulsos eletricamente estimulantes são gerados pela transmissão de uma informação de fala amostrada através de um microfone para os eletrodos, e o sentido acústico é reforçado pela transmissão da informação de fala para a cóclea como pulsos eletricamente estimulantes, caracterizado pelo fato de o método compreender as etapas de: discriminação da informação de fala em respectivas bandas de freqüência, usando-se uma pluralidade de filtros de banda de passagem em um quadro de sinal que é um período de amostragem predeterminado, adição de uma informação de um canal correspondente à banda de freqüência à informação de fala, ajuste do número de pulsos estimulantes para uma freqüência permitida em um canal, ao deixar em respectivos canais uma informação de fala que tem um nível de sinal mais alto em um canal, ajuste do número de pulsos estimulantes para uma freqüência admitida em todos os canais ao deixar uma informação de fala tendo um nível de sinal mais alto em toda a informação de fala deixada nos respectivos canais, e geração dos pulsos estimulantes pela provisão da informação de fala deixada para o eletrodo correspondente ao canal.
