Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A ELIMINAçãO/REDUçãO DE COMPOSTOS COM GOSTO/ODOR A MOFO EM MATERIAIS PARA CONTATO COM ALIMENTOS, EM ALIMENTOS OU BEBIDAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a eliminação/redução de compostos com gosto/odor a mofo em materiais para contato com alimentos, em alimentos ou bebidas baseado na redução/eliminação do TCA (2,4,6-tricloroanisol) nos materiais para contato com alimentos, produtos alimentares ou bebidas, com principal incidência em rolhas de cortiça. A presente invenção refere-se também aos produtos tratados através do referido método. O método da invenção baseia-se na irradiação com raios gama dos referidos produtos com uma intensidade e uma duração (dose de radiação) que provoquem a degradação molecular da molécula de TCA, eliminando ou reduzindo este composto a um nível abaixo do limite de detecção dos consumidores.
