Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA TRATAR UMA SOLUçãO AFLUENTE". Um aparelho (20) trata uma solução afluente (70) compreendendo íons para obter uma selecionável concentração de íons em uma solução efluente (80). O aparelho (20) compreende uma célula eletroquímica (22) compreendendo um alojamento (25) compreendendo primeiro e segundo eletrodos (40, 45). Uma membrana de troca de íons de dissociação de água (100) está entre o primeiro e segundo eletrodos (40, 45), a membrana compreendendo (100) compreendendo uma superficie de troca de ânions (46) voltada para o primeiro eletrodo (40), e uma superficie de troca de cátions (48) voltada para o segundo eletrodo (45), ou vice-versa. O alojamento (25) também tem uma entrada de solução afluente (30) e uma saída de solução efluente (35) com um canal de solução (52) que permite à solução afluente (70) fluir para após ambas superficies de troca de ânions e cátions (46, 48) da membrana de troca de íons de dissociação de água (100) para formar a solução efluente (80).
