Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA SUAVIZAR O IMPACTO DE MOBILIDADE EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE DADOS DE PACOTE". São descritos um método e um aparelho para suavizar o impacto de dados perdidos devido a re-seleção de células para as estações móveis que operam no modo de transferência de dados de pacote. A estação móvel poderá efetuar a re-seleção de célula de duas a quatro vezes por minuto quando localizada em uma área urbana, mesmo se a estação móvel permanece estacionária. A estação móvel que se desloca através de uma rede de comunicação (100) poderá cruzar por várias células e fronteiras de área de roteamento. Ainda, a estação móvel que opera no modo 'push-to-talk' (pressionar para falar) poderá perder até oito segundos de dados quando re-selecionar uma célula em uma nova área de roteamento. A célula servidora transmite o elemento de informação (301, 303, 305) em que a estação móvel é informada se as células em sua lista de vizinhos estão na mesma área de roteamento que sua célula servidora. Se o enlace de rádio para a célula servidora é aceitável então a estação móvel evita a re-seleção para células fora da área de roteamento da célula servidora.
