Abstract

"MATERIAL DE ISOLAMENTO TéRMICO". Trata-se de um material de isolamento térmico e de um método para sua fabricação. O material é adequado para uso subaquático. Ele compreende uma matriz (20) de material polimérico curado, mais preferivelmente poliuretano, em que são embutidos corpos de isolamento (10) cada um compreendendo um núcleo (12) de material térmico e uma camada plástica estrutural externa (10). Os materiais e as condições de fabricação são escolhidos de tal modo que as temperaturas dentro dos corpos de baixa densidade durante a fabricação não são suficientes para destruir os núcleos espumados. O resultado é um material com excelentes propriedades de isolamento térmico.
