Abstract

"SISTEMAS E MéTODOS PARA DETERMINAçãO DE OPERADORA DOMéSTICA UTILIZANDO UM SERVIDOR CENTRALIZADO". São descritos sistemas e métodos para determinar a operadora de rede doméstica associada a uma estação móvel e para autorizar o provimento de serviços para a estação móvel usando armazenamento centralizado de informações de estação móvel e rede doméstica. Em uma modalidade, quando uma estação móvel em 'roaming' tenta acessar serviços, informações de identificação para a estação móvel são usadas por um servidor local para consultar um servidor DNS centralizado que armazena um mapeamento de informações de identificação de estações móveis para correspondentes redes domésticas. O servidor DNS centralizado responde com uma identificação da rede doméstica do usuário móvel em roaming e a rede doméstica a seguir determina se deve conceder ou negar à estação móvel o acesso à rede local. As informações de identificação da estação móvel podem compreender uma MSID, tal como um MIN, IRM, ou IMSI, que pode servir como parte do endereço para a consulta ao servidor DNS centralizado.
