Abstract

"MéTODO E FERRAMENTA PARA PRENDER JUNTAS DUAS OU MAIS CAMADAS DE UM COLCHãO UTILIZANDO UM FIXADOR PLáSTICO". A invenção refere-se a um método para acoplar juntas pelo menos duas camadas de um colchão que inclui as etapas de alinhar cada camada na sua posição apropriada em relação às outras camadas do colchão e, após a etapa de alinhamento, inserir um fixador plástico através das camadas. Uma ferramenta de aplicação de fixador está provida para inserir os fixadores plásticos através das camadas do colchão. Em uma modalidade, a ferramenta de aplicação de fixador inclui um alojamento, uma agulha afiada oca fixamente acoplada no alojamento, um mecanismo de ejeção para avançar uma barra transversal do fixador plástico através da agulha oca e um batente de agulha acoplado deslizante no alojamento para limitar o grau de penetração da agulha oca através das camadas do colchão. O batente de agulha está adaptado para ser fixo liberável no lugar por um membro de trava o qual é internamente tensionado por mola. A ferramenta adicionalmente inclui um conjunto de guia de fixador para guiar um clipe de fixadores plásticos para dentro da ferramenta e uma guia de barra de patim para receber a barra de patim utilizada do clipe de fixadores, as extremidades livres do conjunto de guia de fixador e da guia de barra de patim sendo direcionadas afastando da agulha oca.
