Abstract

"APERFEIçOAMENTOS EM OU RELATIVOS A UM COMPONENTE DE INVóLUCRO PROTETOR E ELEMENTO PARA A FORMAçãO DE UM COMPONENTE DE INVóLUCRO PROTETOR". A presente invenção refere-se a componente de base de invólucro protetor adaptado para atuar como uma peça de base de um encerro de emendas de fibra ótica do tipo que inclui um alojamento de modo geral tubular tendo uma extremidade aberta e uma extremidade fechada e incluindo um meio para vedar o encerro que inclui um meio para a vedação da extremidade aberta do alojamento no dito componente de invólucro de modo que uma pluralidade de cabos de fibra ótica possa entrar ou sair do encerro em uso através de uma abertura no dito componente para as fibras óticas individuais nos cabos a serem emendadas ou conectadas a outras fibras óticas do gênero dentro do encerro, o componente de invólucro sendo caracterizado pelo fato de ser formado de tal modo que possa se posicionar ou ser removido de um cabo ou pluralidade de cabos em um ponto intermediário ao longo do comprimento do mesmo sem interromper a continuidade dos cabos, e tendo um meio para vedar o interior do encerro contra agentes externos.
