Abstract

"ESCOVA DE DENTES, E, PEçA DE SUPORTE LATERAL PARA PORTAR CERDAS NUMA ESCOVA DE DENTES". Uma escova de dentes, seja manual ou motorizada, que possui uma peça alongada com uma cabeça numa extremidade e um cabo na outra extremidade. A escova de dentes está geralmente alinhada ao longo de um eixo longitudinal central. A cabeça possui uma face de escova que inclui uma cavidade de escova a partir da qual se estende uma pluralidade de cerdas. As cerdas estão dispostas numa pluralidade de tufos de cerdas de modo a se estenderem em geral perpendicularmente ao eixo longitudinal central. A escova de dentes compreende ainda uma pluralidade de peças de suporte lateral que se estendem para cima a partir de uma base da cavidade de escova. As cerdas estão fixadas à escova de dentes por um dispositivo de fixação provido na cavidade de escova. O dispositivo de fixação engata pelo menos um dos tufos e porta o tufo entre peças de suporte lateral adjacentes. O dispositivo de fixação possui uma borda de fundo e uma borda de topo. Cada uma das peças de suporte lateral se estende até uma altura predeterminada a partir da base da cavidade de escova de modo a alcançar pelo menos a altura da borda de fundo do dispositivo de fixação na cavidade de escova.
