Abstract
"ANéIS DE ANULOPLASTIA PARA REPARO DE VáLVULAS MITRAIS ANORMAIS". A invenção refere-se a um anel de anuloplastia mitral de remodelação com uma dimensão anterior para posterior reduzida para restaurar a coaptação entre os folíolos mitrais na insuficiência de valva mitral (IMVI). O anel tem um corpo de forma geralmente oval com um eixo geométrico maior perpendicular a um eixo geométrico menor, ambos perpendiculares a um eixo geométrico de fluxo sanguíneo. Uma seção anterior fica entre os trigónios anterolateral e posteromedial, enquanto uma seção posterior define o corpo de anel restante e está dividida em segmentos P1, P2 e P3 que correspondem aos três dentes da mesma nomenclatura no folíolo posterior da valva mitral. A dimensão anterior para posterior do corpo de anel é reduzida em relação aos anéis convencionais, tal como provendo, em vista plana atrial, um segmento P3 puxado para dentro. Vista de outro modo, a convexidade do segmento P3 é menos pronunciada do que a convexidade do segmento P1. Além disso, o corpo de anel pode ter uma porção defletida para baixo na seção posterior, de preferência dentro dos segmentos P2 e P3. A porção defletida para baixo pode ter um vértice o qual é a elevação mais baixa do corpo de anel e pode estar deslocado em relação ao centro da porção defletida para baixo na direção do segmento P1. Uma luva de costura pode ter uma dimensão radial aumentada entre 5-10 cm ou somente uma porção da luva de costura pode estar aumentada.
