Abstract

"SISTEMA PARA FIXAR A PONTE DE UMA PLATAFORMA DE CALADO EXTENSìVEL A UMA COLUNA DE FLUTUABILIDADE, MéTODO DE INSTALAR UMA PLATAFORMA DE CALADO EXTENSìVEL EM UM SìTIO SELECIONADO EM UMA MASSA DE áGUA, E, PLATAFORMA DE CALADO EXTENSìVEL". Uma plataforma de calado extensível, munida de uma ponte e de colunas de flutuabilidade instaladas nos poços de perna na ponte para deslocamento vertical de uma posição levantada para uma posição submersa, inclui um sistema de conexão para fixar as colunas à ponte quando as colunas estão na posição submersa. No sistema de conexão, uma pluralidade de primeiros elementos guias próximo ao topo de cada coluna é engatável por uma pluralidade de segundos elementos guias complementares fixado à ponte em torno de cada poço de perna quando a coluna é baixada para sua posição submersa. Um mecanismo de travamento é operável entre as colunas e a ponte quando os primeiros elementos guias são engatados com os segundos elementos guias. Os primeiros e segundos elementos guias podem ser configurados de maneira que a conexão entre a ponte e as colunas possa ser otimizada super-lastrando as colunas e/ou soldando as colunas à ponte.
