Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO PARA IMPLEMENTAçãO DE PROCESSOS DE SELEçãO DE CANAIS INICIAIS E DE INICIALIZAçãO DE PONTOS DE ACESSO". Processo de inicialização de ponto de acesso (AP) inclui uma fase de descoberta e uma fase de anúncio. Durante a fase de descoberta, o AP detecta APs vizinhos a partir do seu próprio conjunto de serviço estendido (ESS), APs vizinhos de diferentes ESSs e fontes externas de interferência. Durante a fase de anúncio, o AP transmite seus sinais de farol em potência máxima a fim de acelerar o reconhecimento pelos APs vizinhos que conduzem a fase de descoberta. Processo automático de seleção de canais de inicialização de um AP varre canais que o AP utilizará para comunicar-se.
