Abstract
"MéTODO PARA MELHORIA DA PRODUçãO DE COMPOSTOS AROMáTICOS DE CICLOHEXENILA OU ALQUENILA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma melhoria em um processo de preparação de compostos aromáticos de ciclohexenila ou alquenila, tal como estireno, que permite a remoção económica e conveniente de compostos de nitrogênio. Os compostos de nitrogênio podem ser estabilizadores ou neutralizadores ou derivados de estabilizadores e neutralizadores adicionados para impedir a homopolimerização do estireno. Os compostos de nitrogênio são removidos, no caso da produção de estireno, da fração de benzeno que resulta da desihidrogenação do etilbenzeno. Por causa da solubilidade preferencial dos compostos de nitrogênio em água, a maioria de tais compostos podem ser removidos pondo-se a fração de benzeno intimamente em contato com água suficiente em um ponto apropriado do processo e removendo-se a seguir a maioria ou toda a água com os compostos de nitrogênio arrastados.
