Abstract

"CASSETES DE FIXAçãO E ORIENTAçãO DE AMOSTRAS DE TECIDOS". Um cassete (10) de fixação de amostras de tecidos inclui um corpo tendo uma parede de fundo (28) e uma pluralidade de paredes laterais (26) que se prolongam de modo ascendente com respeito à parede de fundo, de modo a definir um espaço interior para receber a amostra de tecido. Uma tampa (24) é configurada de modo a ser recebida no espaço interior e o cassete (10) é seccionável num micrótomo. Elementos de sensoriamento (12) estão associados ao corpo (16) ou à tampa (24) e configurados de maneira a permitir que um sistema de sensoriamento automatizado determine pelo menos uma característica do cassete (10). Um flange (14) prolonga-se ao longo das partes superiores de pelo menos duas das paredes laterais (260 e inclui uma pluralidade de orifícios (12, 20).
