Abstract
"DESTRUIçãO DE COMPOSTOS ORGáNICOS EM CORRENTES DO PROCESSO BAYER". A presente invenção divulga um processo Bayer. O processo Bayer inclui uma etapa de tratamento de um ou mais dos itens: (a) licor ou licores Bayer produzidos no processo; (b) partículas de triidrato de alumina precipitado produzidas no processo; e (c) outros sólidos adicionados ou produzidos no processo; com energia ultrasónica e destruição dos orgânicos no licor ou licores, nas partículas de triidrato de alumínio precipitado e nos outros sólidos.
