Abstract

"SISTEMA PARA PERFURAR POçOS DE PETRóLEO E GáS USANDO UMA HASTE DE PERFURAçãO CONCêNTRICA PARA FORNECER UMA LAMA DE DENSIDADE DUPLA". é divulgado um sistema para controlar a densidade da lama de perfuração em um local no solo oceânico (ou logo acima do solo oceânico) ou abaixo do solo oceânico de poços em aplicações de perfuração em alto mar e em terra. A presente invenção combina um fluido-base de menor/maior densidade do que o fluido de perfuração necessário na broca de perfuração para perfurar o poço para produzir uma lama de retorno de combinação no riser. Ao combinar quantidades apropriadas de lama de perfuração com um fluido leve, a densidade de uma lama do riser igual ou quase igual à densidade da água do mar poderá ser obtida para facilitar o transporte da lama de retorno para a superfície. Como alternativa, ao injetar quantidades apropriadas de fluido pesado em uma lama de retorno, a coluna de lama de retorno poderá ser pesada o suficiente para proteger a cabeça do poço. Na superfície, a lama de retorno da combinação passa através de um sistema de tratamento para limpar a lama dos refugos de perfuração e para separar o fluido de perfuração do fluido-base. A presente invenção ainda inclui uma unidade de controle para manipular sistemas de fluido de perfuração e exibir dados da perfuração e do fluido da perfuração.
