Abstract

"PROCESSO DE SEPARAçãO HIDROMETALúRGICA DE Pó DE FORNO A ARCO ELéTRICO (EAF) DE ACIARIA E OS PIGMENTOS OBTIDOS PELO PROCESSO". Um processo hidrometalúrgico para o tratamento de pó de forno a arco elétrico (EAF) de aciaria contendo aglomerados de pequenas partículas de ferrita e partículas maiores de magnetita, o processo compreendendo as etapas de a) lavagem do pó de EAF em água para a dissolução de sais solúveis, metais e óxidos simples contidos no pó, a etapa de lavagem sendo realizada sob agitação e com um pH alcalino; b) decantação da solução da etapa a) para a obtenção de um líquido supernadante contendo os sais dissolvidos, metais e óxidos simples, e uma lama contendo ferritas e magnetitas, uma quantidade não tóxica de chumbo lixiviável e uma quantidade reduzida de cálcio; c) separação da lama e do líquido supernadante; d) adição à lama obtida na etapa c) de um tensoativo aniónico para a dispersão das partículas de ferrita adsorvida nas particulas de magnetita; e e) tratamento da lama da etapa d) para a produção de pigmentos selecionados a partir do grupo que consiste em pigmentos de ferrita, pigmentos de magnetita e pigmentos de ferrita / magnetita.
