Abstract

"CEPA DE RHODOCOCCUS RHODOCHROUS NCIMB 41164 E SEU USO COMO PRODUTOR DE NITRILA HIDRATASE". A presente invenção refere-se a um microorganismo que é cepa de Rhodococcus rhodochrous NCIMB 41164 ou um mutante deste. Um método de cultivo do microorganismo em um meio de cultura compreendendo uréia ou derivado de uréia é reivindicado. Uma nitrila hidratase obtenível do microorganismo é reivindicada. Também reivindicado é um processo de preparo de uma amida da nitrila correspondente onde o nitrito é submetido a uma reação de hidratação em um meio aquoso na presença de um biocatalisador selecionado do grupo consistindo em um microorganismo que é uma cepa de Rhodococcus rhodochrous NCIMB 41164, um mutante deste e uma nitrila hidratase obtenível da cepa de Rhodococcus rhodochrous NCIMB 41164 ou um mutante deste. Também reivindicado é um método de armazenamento do Rhodococcus rhodochrous NCIMB 41164.
